Pink eye
Double ear infection
Common cold
$%^&*(@!@##%!
On the bright side-she doesn't act like her ears are bothering her at all, the pink eye will clear up in 5-7 days and she won't be contagious after about 24 hours of using prescription eye cream. On the brighter side-I have a very flexible employer that allows me to work from home when need be (like today and tomorrow). And on the brightest side-I get to spend two days with my little girl who isn't at all crabby or cranky. But busy-oh is she ever busy.
Developments over the last couple of days (communicable illnesses aside) are:
She points! It's pretty cute. She gets a little mixed up sometimes though. I told her to wave bye to the pharmacist today and she pointed at him.
Also! Are you ready? She stood by herself for a few seconds at a time here and there. Pretty fun.
She says "mama" and "dada" all day long but I know she's finally getting it. Last week when I walked into daycare to get her she said "mama" when she saw me. Melt.
And about daycare, we're going to have to have a talk with her about that. You know, things like "don't lick Keely," and "don't trade mucous-y toys with Violet" and "always cover your mouth when you sneeze and tell Hunter to do the same." I mean, we love her daycare and we love that she loves it and has bonded with the teachers and has playmates, but we could totally do without the germ-passing. Oh, well. What can you do, right?
Having a good time Sunday at her grandparent's
