Nothing Much

Not much to say right now (GAH Avery, do something!).  The daycare ladies said she is saying bye-bye when she waves.  I have heard this but I'm not convinced it's not just babbling.   Remember I'm also not convinced she's saying mama to me.  See I'm skeptical cautiously optimistic like that.  Here's a few pics from the last couple of weeks.

Oh, and we are going to Breckenridge next month. Lucky girl practically has a new wardrobe just for the trip.  Maybe I'll get bored and do a baby trunk show with her clothes.

The Face of Teething and Ear Infection

Not bad if you ignore the runny nose and ammoxicillin stained pajamas.

8 Months

First of all...WHAT?  How did this happen?  Avery at 8 months:

-Army crawls everywhere.  She is getting quick too.

-Goes from a sitting to a crawling position.

-Can get from laying down to a sitting position barely.

-Says "mama" although I am still not convinced she is associating it with me.

-Feeds herself finger foods (Puffs, bread, etc)

-Waves (you can get her to do it about 50% of the time)

-Very recently has started trying to pull up on things

-Still loves Arthur

-Still loves bathtime

-Moved to "big girl" car seat and stroller

-Sleeps 12 hours a night with occasional random wakings

-Claps her hands together

-Getting lots of hair (shut up, she is!) and it is kind of brown!

-Eating a variety of foods such as carrots, butternut squash, apples, pears, sweet potato, peas.  Does not like peaches (but I made them from frozen since there are no fresh right now and they may have been tart), bananas and the jury is out on blueberries.  Occasionally we give her a few nibbles of what we're eating such as chicken or bread.

She is getting so big and we are having a great time with her!
