35/35

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

35 weeks and 35 days to go! Crazy! So doctor's appointment this morning. Everything was fine there. Going back next Thursday afternoon.

Rob's co-workers had a surprise "dad shower" for him this morning. They invited me so I took the morning off. It was so nice of them do this! Lots of cute clothes and other items (gift cards, bath stuff, monitor, small swing, blankets, diapers, baby care cart, etc). Can't wait to put everything away in her room tonight. Rob's parents got him his dad diaper bag.

Hoping to enjoy some nice weather this weekend. Hope everyone has a great one! And....HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNN AKA SOON-TO-BE MRS. LYNN BRADSHAW!

Isn't the Dad shower so sweet? Tim's work did that for him.
