Goodbye, February

February went out with an icy blast this past weekend.  I say GOOD RIDDANCE although we made the best of it.  Snow started Friday afternoon and kept up through the evening and into Saturday.

Ben simply couldn't wrap his head around being outside and NOT playing with his wheels.  He really tried to make it work but I don't think his tires were made for snow.  He got super frustrated with his trike in particular.

Avery is my little snow bunny.  She loves being out in it.

We had some friends over Friday night and the kids had a great time trying on my heels.

Saturday and Sunday consisted of movies, playing outside, icicle testing, and even a little backyard sledding.

Ben didn't like sledding (only got him to go down one time) but didn't mind giving his sister a push.

Of course we found ways to warm up (Olaf's Warm Hug Vanilla Milk and of course the fireplace).

The kids alternated between pajamas and snow clothes (the same ones) all weekend, which kept laundry down!!

Hopefully we've seen the last of old man winter!
