Catching Up

We've had a crazy busy week that was kicked off last weekend.  Saturday morning we went to Panera for a bagel and received a call that someone wanted to see our house that day.  We spent most of the day cleaning and getting the house ready.  Later that afternoon Avery went to spend the night with her Gigi and Pepaw and Rob and I went to dinner and to a party with some of his coworkers.

Sunday morning the real estate agent came by with an offer on our house.  Obviously we were really, really excited and spent the day thinking about the offer and planning a counter-offer. 

Sunday was super warm so we spent lots of time outside.

Monday we made a counter-offer that was accepted that same day.  Finally, after 8 months on the market, we have a contract on our house!!!!!  Which means we need a contract on a new house asap.  So all week we've been filling out and signing paperwork and madly searching for a house.  We're really hoping everything goes smoothly with inspections and that we can find a house that fits our requirements very, very soon.

Avery keeps saying "we gave our house away to that man."  Ha.  Hopefully that man gets our house and we get a new one.
